In January 2026, STAT-TIS embedded with Third Infantry Division at Fort Stewart for a two-week ThunderRun pilot.
The goal was simple: prove real-time fuel data under operational pressure—not in a lab. Engineers and operators worked beside soldiers, gathered feedback on the spot, and shipped refinements during the exercise.
What we learned
Effective logistics tech has to install fast, survive the field, and earn operator trust. ThunderRun was exercised against those constraints, then tuned from direct unit input.
Next: broader deployments and higher-tempo training venues, including National Training Center rotations.
